An expert from Nobel Biocare held a seminar for students and teachers of the Department of Dentistry and Maxillofacial Surgery

On October 31, the MaksiDent Medical Center hosted a seminar dedicated to one of the most sought-after areas of modern dentistry - restoring the integrity of the dentition with partial and complete adentia. The speaker at the training meeting was Robert Kutyavin, Head of the orthopedic department of the ReSto Dental Clinic, orthopedic dentist, gnathologist, clinical expert at Nobel Biocare.

The event brought together teachers of the Department of Dentistry and Maxillofacial Surgery, clinical residents studying in the specialties of Surgical Dentistry and Orthopedic Dentistry, as well as 5th year students of the Faculty of Dentistry. The seminar was also attended by students of the Faculty of Dentistry of Bashkir State Medical University (Ufa).

Sergey Perepelkin, Vice-Rector for Continuing Medical Education and Regional Health Development at OrGMU, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, and Alexander Matchin, Head of the Department of Dentistry and Maxillofacial Surgery at OrGMU, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, greeted their colleagues.

The participants discussed the issues of using Nobel Biocare implants, digital patient management protocols and clinical nuances: errors and complications, tactics in complex clinical situations, principles of occlusion and a gnathological approach to rehabilitation of patients with complete adentia. The program was designed in such a way that the theoretical blocks were organically combined with the analysis of clinical situations. During the conversation, an agreement was reached on the possible holding of a joint educational event on the topic: "Surgical and orthopedic aspects of the All-on-4 rehabilitation method".
