The guitar song festival was held for the 14th time in the sports and recreation camp "Medik" of Orenburg Medical University.

The jury consisted of Andrey Pakhomov, Vice-rector for Educational and Social Work and Public Relations, Tatyana Samodelkina, advisor to the Rector for the Development of student self-government, and Sergey Shmelev, a songwriter and author of the OrGMU anthem. Rector of the University Igor Miroshnichenko welcomed the participants, noting how many talented young people study at the university. The guys not only get an education, but also find time for creativity.
Students of various courses took part in the festival, and famous bards, sound engineer, organizer and participant of the Lityaevsky Evenings in Goritsvet Vadim Maiko were also invited to it.
Sergey Shmelev opened the event. He sang a song about Orenburg and an anthem about the university. The audience greeted fourth-year student Artyom Klimov with a song from Yuri Shatunov's repertoire with stormy applause. He won the audience Award for his soulful performance. The audience also appreciated the creative potential of the duo of first-year students Polina Komarova and Sabina Sadigova.
"Song about a Friend" performed by Gennady Bessarab did not leave anyone indifferent, and the author Maria Churyak was also given a standing ovation on this day. The crowd applauded the chairman of the guitar club, Arseny Nikitin, who performed a humorous song and a song about doctors. The festival was completed by Galina Osipova, a performer of bard songs, a multiple winner of various festivals. She was also highly appreciated by the jury and thanked by the audience.
All participants of the festival were awarded with diplomas and valuable gifts. After that, the audience was pleased with the work of the songwriter Sergey Shmelev.
